Cincinnati Bengals History: 1999

Cincinnati Bengals Record 1999:  4 wins and 12 losses

This would be the final season that the Cincinnati Bengals would be playing at Riverfront Stadium which had changed its name to Cinergy Field.  The team had played a total of 29 seasons at Riverfront Stadium and had celebrated two AF Championships.

The Bengals played poorly throughout the season including losing 10 of their first 11 games. The Bengals went on to win their next two games.  The team faced the Cleveland Browns in the final game at Riverfront Stadium. The Bengals would win the game 44-28, before losing their final 2 to finish with a 4-12 record.

Corey Dillon ran for over 1200 again.  Cory Dillon had the second-most in team history. Kickoff returner Tremain Mack also made the Pro Bowl, leading the AFC with a club-record average of 27.1 yards per return.

Scored 283 points (17.7/g), 24th of 31 in the NFL.
Allowed 460 points (28.8/g), 31st.
Differential of -177 points (-11.1/g), 30th.
