Chad Johnson on NFL Sirius Radio! E-mail
Written by Colt Power

Cincinnati wide receiver Chad Johnson hasn't been quite as outspoken this season as he was last year, but he still got a good zinger in on the Colts during this interview with NFL Sirius Radio.

Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson was a guest earlier this week on Sirius NFL Radio and talked about how the Bengals' offense and defense are both playing very strong football right now.  "We're peaking at the perfect time. We're peaking when we need each other the most," he said.  "I think we're playing better now that we have to dig ourselves out of this hole."

After starting the season with a three-game winning streak, Cincinnati's season nearly collapsed as they lost five of their next six games. But now they head into Indianapolis Monday night riding a four-game winning streak.

Johnson, who is averaging 16.2 yards per catch this season, over 1200 yards receiving and 7 TD receptions provided one sharp sound byte for his upcoming opponents that should make good bulletin board material in Indianapolis. With the Colts coming off a poor defensive showing against the run, Johnson said with a laugh, "We might not even need no receivers this week. I might sit this one out."

But Johnson also told the listeners that he has great respect for the game and that he just loves to have some fun with it, including some of his remarks.

"And the most respect (I have) is for those who I go out there and play against week in and week out," he said.

Listen in to this 6-minute interview as Johnson talks about the Bengals from a number of angles, including their off-the-field problems -- and why he's been a lot
