Rudi listed as probabale for the Kansas City game.

The Bengals got some good news on Friday.  Cincinnati tailback Rudi Johnson had full participation in practice and was upgraded to probable for Sunday's game at Kansas City.  Johnson played in 64 straight games until a hamstring strain, suffered at Seattle, caused him to be deactivated against New England in Week 4.  He had an early listing of questionable against the Chiefs, but he's healthy enough to answer the 1 o'clock bell at Arrowhead Stadium.  Johnson's final carry at Seattle, a 5-yarder in the third quarter, was just enough to lift him past Pete Johnson into third place on the Bengals' career rushing list.  Corey Dillon (8,061 yards), James Brooks (6,447) and Rudi Johnson (5,422) top the list, followed by Pete Johnson (5,421) and Harold Green (3,727).

Touchdown Tony

Tony Gonzalez's next TD catch will give him the most scoring receptions by a tight end in NFL history. "Gonzo" and Shannon Sharpe are tied with 62 TDs.  Gonzalez has caught a pass in 104 straight games, the second-longest streak among tight ends in history behind Ozzie Newsome's 150.  Gonzalez also is tied with Otis Taylor for the most 100-yard receiving games (19) in Kansas City Chiefs history.

"He's just an all-around great tight end," Bengals cornerback Deltha O'Neal said. "He's a playmaker. You can throw it to him with three people on him, and he'll still come up with the ball. Someway, somehow — anyway possible — you just try to slow him down. You don't let him have a breakthrough game. If you do, we're done."

Easy does it

Take it from Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson. Last week's bye did the trick, energizing the team.  "That bye was perfect," he said. "Offensively, we had time to rest and recuperate. We'll be good. Just remember that the motto for this week is 'easy.' Remember the word: 'Easy.' "

Quick hitters

• The Bengals are 15-4 (.789) when Rudi Johnson rushes for at least 100 yards.

• Chiefs rookie wide receiver Dwayne Bowe aims for his fourth-straight game with 70-plus receiving yards.

• Bengals cornerback Leon Hall leads AFC rookies with two interceptions and is looking for a "pick" in his third straight game.
