Matchup on Sept. 10 will kick off Cincinnati's 40th Anniversary season.
The Cincinnati Bengals open the 2007 season under the Monday night lights. They'll face the Baltimore Ravens at 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at Paul Brown Stadium — the first game of ESPN's Monday Night Football doubleheader. The game marks the first nationally televised season opener in Bengals history, kicking off the club's 40th anniversary season. "It's exciting to know we'll be opening the season at home on Monday Night Football," Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said. "It's a great opportunity for our team, for our fans and for the city. We know the atmosphere is going to be intense." The announcement came at the NFL Annual Meeting in Phoenix, where the league released the national broadcast schedule for the season's opening weekend. The full 2007 NFL schedule is due to be announced next week. Dayton Daily News
