Bengals Start Season With A Loss

The Bengals offense was non existent today in Baltimore.  The line was not able to protect Carson Palmer, and Palmer looked off.  Baltimore never gave Palmer the chance to really get set before he threw.  The rust had to be shaken off of the Bengals Receivers as TJ and Chad were double teamed for most of the game.  It was evident that the lack of time on the filed and the lack of reps between TJ, Chad, and Carson hurt the team.

The defense held the Ravens to 17 points, but the game actually ended with the Ravens having the ball inside the Bengals ten yard line when time ran out.  The Bengals defense looked alright, but once again failed miserably at the end of the game when they needed to hold the Ravens to get the ball back.  The Bengals have their home opener next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Cincinnati.

WhodeyCentral.com Takes Over One Million Hits In Its First Five Weeks E-mail
Written by J. Thomas
Whodeycentral.com has already reached over one million hits in just its first five weeks of being up and live on the internet.  With this being said, the people at WhodeyCentral.com think the site is just getting wamed up.  Jeff Moore the Owner of Whodeycentral.com said he thinks the sites success is do to a combination of the Bengals being hot right now and the fact that the site is dedicated to being a true fans web site.  “We want this to be the number one Bengals Fan web site.  We are always wanting to hear from our readers to get their suggestions and opinions on what we can do to make the site better”.  "We make decisions on site changes and upgrades based on what the fans want”.

Moore is an entrepreneur who has primarily developed ventures in the telecommunications arena in the past.  He developed the site as a fun project for himself and the Bengals fans.  “I own a variety of companies, and I wanted to do something fun.  Just like all the fans on the site, I am a huge Bengals fan, so I thought I would do it as a tribute to the Bengals and even more importantly a tribute to the Bengals fans”.

Moore say Whodey Central also has a bigger purpose in mind.  In the next several weeks we will begin dedicating space on the site to a variety of local charities.  The people who come to our site are good people, and we want them to be brought up to speed on the local charities in the area.  We also want them to get involved if the situation is right for them”.  Moore says the WhodeyCentral.com site will be donating a sizeable percentage of any profits to the local charities.  “This is not one of those deals where we intend to send over ten cents for every ten dollars that we see.  We want this to drive interest so we can in turn can do good things.  This site was developed to do four things: Cover the Bengals, give the Bengals fans their own really cool site, honor past Bengals players and the Bengals history, and promote local charities and giving.”

The site has been gaining interest since its first day on the web.  Fans seem to love the site not only for the team history and news, but they are especially drawn to the Fan Photo Gallery.  The gallery is one of the biggest attractions.  With over 1000 Bengals fan photos displayed, it is by far the largest Cincinnati Bengal Fan Gallery on the web. Whodey Central is just getting started according to the sites Owner.  “We have a lot of things we plan on doing to make the site even better” said Moore.   We are not even out of the first quarter of the game yet; there is a ton of game left for Whodeycentral.com.

Whodey Central will be announcing some major changes soon. So fans can expect to see even more great features on the site.  “Don’t be surprised to see our readers get more access and control over the photos in the photo gallery, an upgraded forum area, an area to honor past Bengals players, and some really cool technology options on the site” says Moore.  This is in addition to the charity awareness work that they will be doing.

WhodeyCentral.com is gaining in popularity.  The number of visitors from this time last week to this week has increased by over 54%.  The site truly is taking off.  Moore ended the discussion with these final thought “We want this site to be a great experience for our readers.  We want people o have fun when they come to our site”.  We are very serious when we tell the fans to let us know what they want.  This is their site, and we want this to be the best site it can be for them.”  We truly appreciate their support, and will continue to make WhodeyCentral.com the best site it can be for them”.
