Bengals Face Off Against Tampa Bay This Sunday

You have to ask yourself, why would a team 0-4 choose to do this.  Why would you add fuel to the fire?  Maybe they feel that the cartoon will rally their team to win its first game this season.  The cartoon does feature Howie Mandel for the TV series “Deal of No Deal”.  I actually think Tampa Bay may have a better chance to win the game if Mandel was playing instead of some of the players they intend to start on Sunday against the Bengals.

Watching this brings me back to the old days.  To a time when the Bengals put together some of the best 0-4 teams around.  I think Bengals fans will agree that back in those days we did not need to give teams more reason to destroy us worse than what they were going to anyway. 

Tampa Bay has taken a brash move here, and a fairly dumb one.  Yea, its juts a cartoon, and the Bengals players will say it is no big deal.  Come Sunday, I bet they go out of their way to make sure that the Blundaneers get what is coming to them.  I like the cartoon.  It is well done, and it gives the Tampa Bay fans something to laugh about other than their way their team plays.  It also gives them something to look at other than the records section of the Tampa Bay web site.  Oh, for anyone who did not make it to that section of the team web site it reads….

Good luck with your team this year Tampa Bay.  I hope your fans enjoy the cartoon.  I know the Bengals are enjoying it.  The only thing we are concerned about is which is funnier the actual web site cartoon or watching Tampa Bays 0-4 team continue to dominate as one of the worst teams in the NFL.
