Cut down day is never easy. For a professional athlete it may mean the end of a long sought after dream. Sometimes, it is just a bump in the road. However, it is never easy to have someone tell you you're not good enough.
Remember the days when you were trying to make the elementary, junior high or high school teams and you had to wait until the coach posted the names of those who made the team? Or maybe the coach called your house? You wanted the news, but, you didn't want to answer the phone.
Rumor has it that the new Cincinnati Bengals Defensive Coordinator Mike Zimmer is not afraid to get in players faces. He is not an easy going guy when things don't go well. He has been getting in defensive players faces quite a bit, and he makes no bones with his players that thing go his way or it is the highway for them. He has called upon the Bengals defensive backs to hit and to hit hard.
The days of Defensive Back who play sqimish and half speed for the Cincinnati Bengals are over. Expect to see a hard hitting group of Defensive Backs, and if you do not see them, expect to see heads roll under Zimmer's Watch. He is a high energy, in your face, put up with nothing kind of guy.
Now isn’t that refreshing for all you Bengals fans out there!
