Reports are coming out now that Andre Smith, the Bengals 1st round draft pick last year, is being placed on the PUP list.

Smith had surgery on his fractured foot he obtained during non-contact drills last season, this past February. The recovery time for the surgery is 10 weeks and was not expected to expand the total recovery time of the rehab. Smith was expected to be fully recovered and ready to go for training camp. Instead, he is reported to be missing the next 2-3 weeks of training camp.

Peter King tweeted "Marvin Lewis not happy with rehab that jillionaire OT Andre Smith did in off-season. Ought to be fully rehabbed from foot injury. He's not."

This does not look good for Andre Smith. He already gave a bad first impression with the holdout last year, his weight issue that resulted in a "Weight Clause" in his contract, fracturing his foot during a non-contact drill and now not being fully rehabbed after more than the alloted time.
